Greetings Region 24!  Welcome to the Events Coordinator page. 

First I'd like to acknowledge the efforts of Paula Aznoe in planning the contest venues for Region 24 over the last several years.  There have been many challenges to overcome and she has managed them masterfully! I look forward to the next block of contests and hope I can follow in her footsteps.

The contest venues are set for the next serveral years now:

2011:
Contest at the Spokane Conference Center;
Housing at the DoubleTree Hotel

2012:
Contest at the INB (Opera House);
Housing at the 2 Red Lions and the Oxford Suites, with busing.

2013-14-15:
Contest at the Boise Center;
Housing at the Hampton Inn, The Grove, and Hotel 43

 Even though Spokane is not in our geographical boundaries, the wonderful staff at the INB (formerly the Spokane Opera House) host Region 13 regularly and know exactly what we need for our contest. And Boise is very anxious to host us as well.

Other regional events, include the Director's Workshop in May and the Henrietta Lindsay Quartet Workshop in August of this year, and REACH-2011. 

If you are interested in serving the region, getting involved in contest planning is a great place to start!    We would love to have you involved.
