Sweet Adelines International Region 24

Gold Country

Gold Country is comprised of all the first place quartet medalists that reside in Region 24. These championship singers have earned the admiration of audiences and the respect of the Sweet Adelines membership by competing and winning with a quartet at the regional level, at least once. Many have had repeated successes. They have all had the opportunity to compete and appear on the International stage at a variety of locations around the country - a once in a lifetime experience!

These champions perform and collaborate at regional events providing entertainment, leadership and education. They welcome competing quartets at each competition; educate the members of the region via coaching, conducting panel discussions, and performing personal vocal inventories. They are also a very entertaining chorus performing on regional contest stage every year while the judges tabulate the scores as well as other regional events.

These members are our premiere barbershop specialists who love to share their knowledge of the craft on a group or individual basis. Many of them make themselves available for coaching quartets or PVIs.
